Christmas presents for families

So we didn't get to do secret Santa this year and i am honestly pissed. I dont have the money to buy every single person something. So I was think about buying gingerbread houses for each family as a present from me??

My husband has a concern about it looking like I didnt put to much thought in to the gift but i honestly dont want to buy his family stuff because they dont like me at all, so I was thinking about just getting them cookies. If not then was else should I get each family??
