Could I be having a blighted ovum miscarriage

On the 14th I had a doctors appointment, Doctor told me I should have been around 6 weeks and 4 days from my LMP which was Oct 29th. My cycles usually ranges from 31 to 32 and last between 5 to 6 days. He did a transvaginal ultrasound. There was A Sac & Yolk but that was it and it measured 4 weeks and 6 days instead of where it should. He told me that I needed to come back on the 27th for another ultrasound but to prepare myself because he thinks I’m miscarrying. I’ve literally had no symptoms at all but a miss period which made me test in the first place. I have no cramping, bleeding or anything. I’m trying to stay positive but it’s so hard when the doctor really gave me little hope... is there any chance that a baby could appear or am I giving myself false hope?
