A little guidance

I’m catholic and I’ve been trying to get better as to going to church weekly. Confessing my sins so I can revive communion or just following the Bible’s guidelines. But I wasn’t raised in a very strong relieves family because my Father is not religious but my mom is catholic, not strongly though.

Anyways I’m in a deal with this guy. We plan on dating in a year or so because we want to wait till high school. We act as such couple would though, we hang out, cuddle and hold hands. No kissing though I have crosses the line but realized we’re not ready for that and such parent wishes. Also by cuddling I mean reading my head on his shoulder and his arm around me.

But I want to know if what I’m doing is being on the right path? Or what you guys think of the situation? I ask for any option good or bad
