Waste of time at hospital

So I went to the Health dept, got the pregnancy confirmed. Then I was sent to the hospital because I mentioned I was having slight cramping. The nurse is being a bitch commenting “I’m supposedly pregnant” very loudly in the hallway. The dr comes in and says this is all a waste of time because they won’t be able to see the baby yet cause I’m only missing my period today... but then draws blood, does a uterine check and all this. Like wtf if it’s a waste of time why waste money. Now I’m sitting here waiting for an hour for my results to come back to see what my hcg level is. How early did you get an ultrasound?
