Faint positive?

My boyfriend and I have been ttc for a little over 2 years now. Last month i started spotting 4-5 days before my expected period, and I never got a full period. Just barely spotting.... in the past month I have been feeling all these pregnancy symptoms, but since my mind has tricked me before I have just blown it off. My expected period was supposed to start on the 15th of December and today is the 17th and I still have not started. First thing this morning when I woke up I took this pregnancy test and this was my result. Faint positive, or am I just seeing what I want to be there?
