Should I throw myself a baby shower?

I know people don’t usually have baby showers for their second baby, but I’d really like to have one and throw it myself! It’s an excuse to have a cute party and I will let everyone know that they do not need to bring gifts. Is it weird to throw yourself a baby shower?

Where I come from, baby showers are thrown despite it being baby number 10, if you have someone who cares enough to put on the organising work, u get one, some don't even get a shower on their first baby due to many reasons. N some get for every baby.  I have always been great at planning baby showers for others. I have all the ideas of how to have it cute. But somehow I have a feeling I won't get one because all the people who would have thrown me one are so far away. Have also thought of throwing myself one. And inviting people. So yeah! If I get to 8 months, I will start organising my own baby shower because I want to celebrate my baby. N I will invite those I want to celebrate with. Can't miss celebrating just because no one threw me on. Lol. I guess I love lemonade

Yea! We plan on having one and calling it a sprinkle and just ask for diapers, wipes, and possibly newborn clothes.

I don't think second showers are tacky, but I think you should see if anyone would throw it for you. My aunt threw my second shower and she wants to throw me another for my third 😂 I told her I dont need it. But she wants to celebrate this baby too. But I would never throw it myself.

No.  I’m going to have one for our second and just register for a few things we need, they call it a sprinkle because it’s not quite a shower ☺️
