How long did you bleed about getting Mirena?

I’m getting an IUD and wanted. Realistic picture as to how long I’ll bleed after. I know everyone is different so I’m curious to see what your experiences were like.

When i first got my mirena I had bled for like 3 weeks straight it stopped came back and i would bleed for 2 weeks most and eventually it evened out after a year but it was irregular for me most of the time. On the upside it made my periods very much lighter. I got my mirena out november 5th I couldnt take it anymore I was constantly in pain now im on the pill. Best decision I made was getting back on the pill for me. Every body is different so it wont be the same experience for everyone wish you luck ❤️

I didnt bleed right after getting it. I had my normal periods thru month 4 then they stopped
