Follistim & 1st IUI Cycle...

Hi all, I am coming on here to hear about any similar stories to mine to see if what I am experiencing is common and take it easy or if I need to concern myself.

I have PCOS, diagnosed about 12 years back. I have been TTC for over 3 years now. 2 years of of vitamins, diets and holistic approaches and the past year with medical treatment. I was on Clomid for 4 cycles and only ovulated on cycle 2 at 50mg, the 1st and last 2 cycles resulted in no matured follicles, so bust.

Now I began with Follistim on Thursday 12/6/18 with 5 days at 75 units; scan showed nothing yet (estrogen was at the right level), continued with the dosage for another 3 days, another scan and blood-work, no changes in either the follicles or my levels. MD uped my dosage to 100 for 3 more days, scan/blood-work, no changes, uped it again to 125 for another 3 days went in for a scan Tuesday 12/18/18, still nothing but this time estrogen went from 63 to 83, so kept me on the same (125) for another 3 days and back in tomorrow for another scan and blood-work. Currently I would be on CD 16 tomorrow. I have also been taking 2000 mg of Metformin for about year, and 50mg of Levothorxine along with Pre-Natal vitamins and Vitamin D.

At this point I have been at this for 2 weeks and I am not great with needles, but I have been sucking it up. I went into this new cycle very positive but with each scan resulting in the same outcome it's starting to takes it's toll on me especially since I have already done 4 unsuccessful cycles with Clomid. Not to mention the costs are adding up and I am becoming nervous. Any and all stories shared would be so appreciated. Thank you all and Happy Holidays!
