🤔 Coworker contemplating SUICIDE! 😩

Okay so I have a male coworker who I like (as a friend). We are somewhat close as coworkers and lately he’s been kinda making me worry. His current girl friend came into work the other day and I say “hey Lo, how are you?” She replies “not good, I’m not feeling well!” I say “oh (with a smile) are you pregnant 😃?” She says “no, but I wanna be! (With a smile)🙃 I said “omg me too, we been trying since August with no luck” and then she says..... “

I was trying to get pregnant two weeks ago, but I don’t think he was” 👀 I immediately kinda stop the conversation by saying “oh okay, well good luck” and walk to the back end of our work place. I contemplate what I should do so I talk to the only person I truly trust... my husband!

He says to tell my coworker what his girlfriend told me, so the next day at work, I do so. He gets upset and says “I told her ass I don’t want any more kids... if I want a kid, I would adopt a teenager in a few years but I don’t want no baby! Shit if she is pregnant ima commit suicide... right here at work” and since he is the jokester he is, I kinda chuckle thinking he is playing around and leave it at that. Well today the topic comes up again and he informs me more that he will commit suicide if his girlfriend is in fact pregnant. And it put me in a difficult spot. I have an ex who committed suicide about 3 years ago and I have also contemplated suicide in my teenage years (rough times).. so for me, like many, suicide is not something to play or joke about. Is he crying out for help?! Is he just seeking attention? Is he just being silly and stupid?! What should I do?! Should my boss be notified? I know he would hate me for “being a snitch” but I’d rather him have a life and make the best of it then see him dead at work one day. What would you do?! Advice is very much welcome! PLEASE!!!
