Normal periods vs irregular

So I started spotting last Tuesday (Dec 11th) and it was only when I wiped.. flash forward to Friday i bled heavy (filled one pad throughout the whole day) and then Saturday and Sunday was practically nothing. So far all this week it’s only when I wipe but it’s so annoying bc this has never happened to me so idk .. did this happen to anyone of you guys? How long did it last?
