When do you ovulate?

This is my first cycle tracking ovulation and I can’t tell if I ovulate on day 10 (thought ovulation is generally later) or if my body is trying but not quite ovulating. What is normal? When do you ovulate?

I usually ovulate between cd11-cd13. You do only ovulate on one day. I track with both opk's and bbt charting. When you get a positive opk you're expected to ovulate 12-36 hours later. So the opk detects the LH surge and then the bbt charting picks up the temp spike that happens the day after you've ovulated so you know for sure when you actually did (worth trying this out if you're not successful this cycle).
Anyway, you do only ovulate on one day however you are fertile for 5 days before ovulation and 1 day after so it's important to narrow it down and get used to where you ovulate so you can try and predict each cycle so you get the necessary baby making in at the right times.
Your opk was blazing positive on cd10 - so it's likely that you ovulated on cd11 (but as you can ovulate up to 36 hours after a positive opk it could be cd12). So add on around 14 days (that's the average time between ovulation and next period - though this can vary from between 10-16, so again, it's best to narrow down ovulation so you know when your period is expected) and that would be when your period is expected.
