I recently found out my AFP level came back at 4.3 (average is between 2.0-2.5). I know higher number can be a sign of neural tube defects and other complications, but I’ve also heard that it could be a placenta issue or nothing at all. I’m wondering if anyone has had experience with this that can share their story. I won’t be able to get a level 2 ultrasound until Jan 11 and the wait is going to be torture for me
