Pregnancy and nipple piercings?

Should I take my piercings out while I'm pregnant? What are yall views on this?

my midwife just had me take them out because she said if I got an infection then the baby wouldn't be able to breastfeed and that my boobs could possibly leak out too much milk

I did only because my body started rejecting them from being so sensitive, and they got infected like every week lol some people are sensitive to it, most people are fine to keep them in

I unfortunately took mine out with the intention of breastfeeding. But that didn’t happen. I did pump, so I guess it wasn’t for nothing. I’m too much of a chicken shit to get them pierced again, but it hurt so much and I can’t afford to spend the $100 again 😑

I can imagine they will be painful once ur boobs start swelling... but i had mine removed before  pregnancy.. and i noticed its a little sensitive.

I took mine out because my nipples started getting bigger and the rings didn't fit anymore. Plus I was going to breastfeed so I'm was going to take them out anyways. They didn't close at all and a year later milk still comes out the holes
