Weight loss after implant removal?

Hey guys!

I've been on the implant for a little over 2 years and I'm looking to get it out ASAP. When I got on it at 19 I was around 125lbs. Now I'm 21 and about 165. I've actually been eating less and better than i was before the implant and I'm convinced that it's the reason for this weight gain. I've struggled to keep myself from gaining any more. Has anyone had any experience losing weight when the implant was removed or have I screwed my body over?
