Should I do a Test?

Question

I am just shy of turning 30! 
I am on day 31 of my cycle and due my period today but when I went to the loos I felt high and firm like I did when I fell pregnant with my now 10 month old.... I could still start later today as it's 6 am right now here in the UK ... HOWEVER at the same time I am itching to do a test! I can't get back to sleep!!! But i don't want to test & disappoint myself... ! We were barely active this month although I know it can take just that one time!!
Double celebrations for the new year may be? ....

It’s so hard not to test! I think it’s okay to test when you’re due on, you could wait a few more days? I think I will test in a few days just before my period is due on the 3rd of January.

Same here hun im 3 days late but i dont have a lot of symptoms my boobs hurt but dont i dont have any backaches but i do wake up with headaches im snappy and moody but im too scared to do a test as i dont want the disappointment and im never late xx
