Breastfeeding to encourage milk production??

Question

Basically i had decided on pumping from the beginning. And formula supplementing. Was pumping a decent amount until about 4 days ago when my milk supply dropped tremendously. I can barely pump an oz in one day and i know its because i got lazy pumping and pumped like once a day. Well formula is expensive and i was wondering if breastfeeding will encourage my milk supply or if there is a strict schedule anyone knows i should do pumping to help or any tips at all honestly. Help ftm here

It’s all supply/demand, the more baby nurse/you pump the more you will produce.

Pump every two hours (so 12 times a day) and power pump twice a day. 
You should be getting up in the middle of the night to pump at least as often as your baby gets up. 
As for power pumping, you’ll want to pump for twenty minutes or until you’re breasts are empty, wait ten minutes, pump for ten more minutes, wait ten minutes, pump ten minutes, so you end up pumping for an hour in ten minute increments.
