Painful Braxton Hicks at 16 weeks?

Question

I had the worst contraction-like pain last night and I’m wondering if that’s normal or if anyone else has experienced this before the third trimester. I have a son so I’ve been through labour and delivery and the pain I had last night was so similar to contractions  and was not gas pain which I have also experienced during this pregnancy and much more painful than the round ligament pain I’ve had so far. It lasted for maybe 20-30 minutes. Is this normal or should I be concerned?

Sounds like it’s from dehydration

I had the same thing. Baby’s still fine and in there @ 32 weeks

I don’t think having pain similar to the labor you had with your first baby.... I’d make a call to your dr just to be sure.
