So my husband and I are expecting a baby and he has hsv2. He just got insurance and is setting up a primary doctor next week to hopefully get on the medication he needs to control the outbreaks. But we’re super worried about the baby and me catching it while pregnant. We avoid sex for like 2-3 weeks when he does have an outbreak until he’s totally clear. So far we’ve been lucky that I haven’t caught it but now we’re even more worried. Any suggestions or support is greatly welcomed.
