Bf Question!!!

So I’m talking with my ex who is my first love btw, we have been talking for abt 2 and half months. He had make it clear that he didn’t want a relationship so we were just talking, after the first month he had started to thinking of us together and until last week he had asked me to join him for NYE with his family and i said of course I’ll come. We hang out once few days ago but he told me he doesn’t want anything from me. So I’m really confused... He had started thinking of us together and then he doesn’t want to spend the New Years eve together.

I ask him u have been talking to someone else I don’t understand... btw I’m 23 he is 28...

IDK what to do... I’m falling for him everyday more and more... plz, help!!
