When do you plan to tell your employer? Or when did you?

I’ll be 10w3d when I return to work after the holiday break. The two weeks between thanksgiving break and Christmas were brutal but I was able to suck it up.
I’m a middle school teacher. I’m still throwing up some mornings. Gah.
We haven’t told anyone besides immediate family and two best friends. 
Feeling unsure as to when is the right time.

I told my employer almost as soon as I found out because I work in a lab and some changes had to be be made in regards to the chemicals I can use. But saying that I've basically been out of work the last three weeks due to severe sickness 🙄

I'm 11w I'm thinking 12w to tell my boss and 14 or 15w to tell everyone else at work. I'm not able to make my appointments for after work alot of the time so I want them to understand that I'm not just flaking on work.

I’ve had two devastating MCs this year. With the first there was also discovery of a huge tumor, fibroids, cysts along with the ectopic. Surgery knocked me out of work for a few weeks. The second was more emotionally traumatizing than the first. Thankfully I work for a couple of very understanding women (who have been saying I’d be a great mom for years). My direct manager’s wife has also had problems so he’s understanding too. I told the women (director and upper manager of my group) fairly soon. I’ll tell him mid-Jan when I’m 14-15 weeks.

I’m planning to tell my boss after my 12 week ultrasound on January 15. He was really supportive of me after my MC in January so I know he’ll be excited. Plus I’m super bloated and looking pregnant already so it’s going to be hard keeping up the charade much longer!

I’m a week ahead of you and will tell my principals when I return after break on Jan 6th. We get about 7-8months maternity leave (I work for an international school in Dubai) so they need time to hire a mat leave cover, which includes visas and such. It’s a long process so I want to give them fair warning.

I’m not working this pregnancy, but I was really comfortable with my employer previously, and I told her at 7 weeks. I was sort of forced into it because I had really severe sickness from about 4 weeks on, and I was really weak for a while, so I thought it was fair that she know I wasn’t intentionally ‘slacking off.’ She had known before I told her 😂 I would tell them when you’re ready, but you’ll be having your baby in the summer, so I don’t know how your maternity leave will work (or what the policy is in your district?)

I had to tell my employer early. I’m a fitness instructor, so in case something happens to me during a class or I need an emergency last minute sub, they know what’s up. I’m 10w now and told them when I was 5w. I also do some contract work at home for another company that’s managed by my mom, so she of course knew early too :)

I told my boss at 7 weeks because I got incredibly sick at work. He said congrats and to let him know if I needed anything. Not a big deal at all.

With my first son, I told my work at about 15 weeks. 
Second son, I was really comfortable with my boss and so I told her about 9 weeks. 
We recently moved to Seattle for a great job opportunity, and I have been with this company since June. 😕😲😬 We were planning to start trying for Baby#3 next year, when I had been with the company a year, but found out on Thanksgiving I was unexpectedly 6 weeks pregnant. 😲
Although we are very excited now that the shock has worn off, my husband keeps slyly looking at me from the corner of his eye and asking me, "So, when ya planning on telling your boss? You're 11 weeks now." Yes, hunny, like I forgot. 😂
My boss is a really caring person. I'm just obviously nervous because I have only been working there 7 months when time comes I break the news. 
I plan on sitting down with him.. probably.. the third week of January to let him know. 
I'll be about 15 weeks.
