So I got braids in my hair while I was on vacation in Jamaica, when I came back home everyone told me it was racist I mean everyone lol. I was so confused because of it was racist why are there so many stands that offer this service for hair to tourists and vacationers?? I don’t think it’s racist because it’s just a hair style... and it means no harm. I understand it is a part of culture for some but that doesn’t mean that other races and people can’t enjoy it. Do you think it’s racist that I got the braids?
