Implantation spotting?

Morning!!! So my husband and I are newly to TTC. I’m almost 35 so I don’t want to get my hopes up too quickly I know it takes time. We got busy on my most fertile days, I’ve been super nauseous for the past 6 days (totally usual) and yesterday I had mild cramps. Today I woke up with a tiny amount of spotting. I’m not supposed to get my period for 7 days. We were hoping we made a baby for Christmas but now I’m not so sure. Could it possibly be implantation spotting?
