C section..endo questions..

I was 38 weeks pregnant went in for a exam. Not dialated. Not thinning. Very high. I was showing signs of high BP. This was my second baby. 1st one 7 years prior. We were trying for a long time with 1 misscarrage in between. I was a good canidate for vbac, but honestly I just wanted my baby in my arms and i wanted to get over it. So i was wheeled into the surgery room. Everything went smoothly. I delevered a healthy baby boy. 8lb 2 oz, 21 in long. They took 2 hours cleaning me up and stapling me. Turns out I had endomitriosis stage 3 and didnt even know. The ob surgeon cleaning me up a little but had to put a few stiches on my right ovary because of how much tissue was taken off. I have adhisions as well. The ob told me after the c section that I would have a hard recovery. I am 5 weeks pp and it has been ok. Feel almost back to normal. Questions i have... Has this happened to anyone, get diagonsed during c section? Could this be the reason it took us 4 years to conceive? And how long do u think u go with stage 3 before they do surgery?
