What age should I have sex?

My mom said I'm 2 young to have sex. And I dont feel comfortable asking her what age should I do it. But I wanna know at what show I have have sex? There is a guy who has had sex and he is my friend and he loves me. And he said we wants to have sex what I dont really know.( I'm 16 btw)

If you’re asking when you should have sex that is a sign that you are not ready. And you say this guy is your best friend, you don’t want to ruin that special relationship you have with him by throwing in sex. I believe in waiting until you are in a committed relationship and personally 16 sounds too young. 
I wanted to wait until marriage purely for the fact I believe in having one sexual partner in a lifetime (personal preference) but I was 18 when I lost my virginity it was a moment of weakness and I’d only dated the guy a few weeks but now I’m 21 and we are still together and recently got our first mortgage. 
Basically, there is no rush. And it makes it much more special with someone you have a deep connection with. Not just some horny teenager throwing the word “love” around.

Yes! Definitely wait....matter of fact PLEASE wait until you're with someone you love, trust, and want to be with. I lost my virginity at 19 and to someone who had no intentions in really wanting to be with me. I was young and stupid he played me thinking he wanted to be with me. But the whole time he just wanted to be the first guy to pop my cherry. So please me smart and wait for the right guy. And also 16 is a young age to be having sex. You can def wait on it..I wish my mom would've preached to me about holding on to my virginity. But she never spoke to me about sex at all.
