6 months postpartum no sex

We’ve been trying..trust me we’ve been trying but it’s just so painful! I almost cried today because I’m just so upset, is it me? Should I just take the pain until it’s in and then it’ll be fine from there? It just hurts so much to the point where I flinch away every. Single. Time. Our baby is about to be 7months and we still haven’t had sex. Any advise? I’m desperate at this point. Thanks in advance.
