I think mine was drinking 4 6-8 oz bottles a day around 5 mos before she started solids and drinking a little less.

12oz, somewhere around 6 or 7 months if I remember right. Shortly after that he started drinking a lot less.

i work in a daycare in the baby room (2 months to 11months) and most babies max out at 8-10 oz. (10 is months) then they slowly start them on solid foods. when they reach 8 oz they eat solid foods on snack and at least one meal so they only get 2 bottles a day. then at 10 oz, if they get there, (most just want to eat regular food after 8 oz) but if they get to 10 oz then they only get one bottle and eat regular food for snack and 2 meals. this helps them transitions easily into eating solid foods all day. then by the time they're in the one year old room they're adjusted to eating solids for every meal and snack.
