Best TTC friendly BC

So my SO and I are taking a break from TTC. I really want to focus on my career and just relax for a little while. What is the best BC in your opinion or your doctors opinion that didnt cause any harm to your body? What BC were you on before you started TTC? How long did it take for you to get pregnant once you stopped taking BC. How long did you take your BC?
