Do I tell him I’m pregnant today?

I really need some advice. Today 1/2/2019 is the one year anniversary of my fiancé’s brothers passing. He had a heart attack on 1/2/2018. I’ve had a feeling I was pregnant a few days now but just got my bfp today. Do I tell him today? I don’t want to take away his day for grieving for his brother. At the same time will he see it as a blessing? We have a 1 year old  as well so I’m afraid he might be disappointed and feel overwhelmed as he is the only one working (comfortably)

I wouldn’t tell him today.  Wait until tomorrow and let him know that you had suspicions for a few days and you found out today but wanted to be respectful and honor the significance of the day.  Today is most likely extremely emotional and even things he would normally be thrilled about can trigger new emotions.   “What if I have a heart attack myself and leave my wife and two kids like my brother?”  Things like that.  To be safe, I would wait until tomorrow.

I think it could be a great gift! If you’re nervous, maybe wait until the end of the day after he’s taken the day to be in his grief so that he can go to bed thinking about your new miracle.
