Cramping after miscarriage

I had an early miscarriage at around 5 weeks. I knew it was going to happen because my beta levels were dropping. I started spotting on December 23 and was full on heavy bleeding by the 24. I bled off an on until the 31. Yesterday I had no blood but last night I started getting cramping. It hasn’t let up and is still really uncomfortable today. I guess my question is has anyone had something similar? Does this seem normal or should I go to the dr?
