Do you think cheaters ever change?

What do you think? It depends how long you’ve known the person? Or is it just certain “cheaters” do change?

Not towards the person they cheated on. Once they feel comfortable cheating on you, it’s unlikely they’ll stop.

Cheaters do change. People cheat if they aren’t 100% there. If you’re the one they won’t cheat if you aren’t the one then a cheater will cheat

i’m still finding out. My bf cheated on me 3 times (that I know of) So far he seems to have changed, we have better communication and understandings and he has proven to himself that they were genuine mistakes but you never know 🤷‍♀️ All I know is that he slips up again I’m out

Idk. I’ve always thought no they can’t change, because if they did it and somehow got away with it, that they’d do it again. Or if they did it and got dumped, then maybe they’d think they could fool someone else. It’s just once it happens all the trust you’ve built is gone and taken from you almost. It’s insane. I’ve had a couple disputes with my partner though because he cheated a few months ago and he wouldn’t accept our relationship until I said I knew he wouldn’t do it again rather than thinking he wouldn’t do it again. It all comes down to the person and if they really care for you or not. I think though if someone cheats, they never loved or cared for you in the first place. It’s just really hard. Depends on the person and your personal beliefs. Maybe some people can change
