HCG or no

I'm 40, LMP was November 25, estimated conception around December 9. Third pregnancy after two miscarriages at 4 and 6 weeks. With the first 2, my doctor checked my HCG levels and we knew they were low and not rising. I kinda don't want to do that again. Why go to the dr and get three different blood draws just to be told I'm going to miscarry again? There's nothing to be done either way so why stress myself out? If this one isn't going to stick I'll know soon enough. So I'm thinking about just waiting to go in for another couple of weeks.
