When washing your hair what do you do first?

For people with kinkier textures it’s better for your hair to be moisturized before putting shampoo in it as shampoo strips (black hair at least) of its natural oils. That is why some people condition first. I put coconut oil in my hair before washing.

Depends , sometimes ill put on a hair mask and leave it for 20 minutes, shampoo that out and then once again condition. My hairs hella dry rn and this seems to be working really well. My curls haven’t looked the good since I was a little kid haha
