When to move my baby to her nursery?

I’m 14 weeks pregnant but I’m already planning a nursery! I know Atleast the first year I want my baby sleeping in my room in a bassinet but what’s a good time to move your baby to the nursery?

Baby will be too big for a bassinet before they are 6 months old. They aren’t safe and they can climb out of them once they are past a few months old.

We just moved our little one to his room and he’s 5 months old. It was starting to get uncomfortable having sex in our bedroom with him there. Plus he’s sleeping through the night.

We moved our son into the nursery in his crib when he was 8 weeks. We were tired of sneaking around and being quiet at night to not wake the baby, plus he was sleeping through the night so I didn’t feel the need to have him with us anymore.

Here it's recommended to have the baby close for at least six months. So that's the goal. We don't know what the baby is gonna sleep in yet, so it might depend on the space as well how long it'll last. The nursery will most likely be ready and we will most likely just see how it goes.

I think I moved my son into his nursery around 4 months old. Before that, he coslept with me.

Our son hated his bassinet. Not sure why but he slept in it maybe 2 times and ended up cosleeping for the first 4-6 weeks. Now we have a pack n play that he stays in by our bed. He is 3 months right now & We will be putting him in his nursery at about 3.5 or 4 months because he is mostly sleeping through the night
