bf is a bad responder (advice pls!)

okay so my boyfriend and i (i’m 16 and he’s 17) have been dating for a little while now and i love him so much. everything is amazing about him, except that he’s a horrible responder, and it honestly makes me really upset. i wanna bring it up to him, but i don’t want to make it seem like i’m being obsessive or crazy. any advice on what to say to him? or am i being over dramatic?

also, we live an hour away from each other, so i can’t seem him in person that often (which makes him not responding even harder for me)
