Docatot- what’s your opinion?

First time mom here and needing some suggestions. I’ve heard great things about the product but I’m not sold on spending so much on a pillow.

Personally liked SnuggleMe more for 0-6 months stage; felt more comfy and didn’t allow him to roll at all! We ended up getting the bigger DockATot for when he grew out of it and could roll back to front and front to back on his own.

The dockatot is basically crib bumpers tied together, which are a suffocation risk. I would only use the mesh beds like swaddleme by your side sleeper.

I adore mine. I take it everywhere. It also is how we cosleep. I wish I knew someone crafty who could have made one for me because $175 is insane to charge for it, but no other co sleeper was quite as good

I made my own for like $15. I couldn’t bring myself to spend that much on something that will only get used a few months.

We love outs. I wouldn't say it's a "must-have", but it's great to have! 👍🏾 We kept ours downstairs for naps during the day. We did not use it as a co-sleeper because we did not want to start the habit of bedsharing. After our daughter outgrew the Deluxe, we purchased the Dockatot Grand, which we still use for lounging. We also had the SnuggleMe Organic,Baby Delight Snuggle Nest, and Snuggle Nest Traveler. All are great items, but the Dockatot is the best. However, it is up to you whether or not you want to purchase it or not. 👌🏾

I love for everything! We coslept in it for a few weeks in the very beginning, then used it in the bassinet after that until she was 5 months. I didn’t transition her to the crib in it though because I wanted to strictly do cry it out and self soothing, which she picked up very quickly! 
It’s also great if you travel, she slept great when I’d visit my parents because she was in the same sleep environment. I think Dock a tot combined with the halo sleep sack were the best purchases I made

I got one on sale at tjmaxx but only plan on using it when supervised since it’s not meant for sleeping (suffocation risk if they roll into the sides) but it’s super convenient for placing in the bathroom when I want to shower or just for lounging around
