If you somt have your period/bleed does that mean you wont ovulate?

My period is irregular and now it's 15 days late which isn't normal. So I guess my question is on the months my period decides to not show up is it still possible to ovulate?

Answer

You’ll most likely only ovulate one time during a cycle. The luteal phase (time between ovulating and next period starting) doesn’t change. So most likely, no. If your period is late it’s most likely because you ovulated late.
For example, my friend has really irregular cycles, only has a period once ever 3 months or so, and she also would only ovulate once in those 3 months. I hope that helps.
