Teethe falling out while pregnant?!!

I didn’t know this was thing... I just lost my tooth today and my moms says it’s because I’m pregnant. I’m extremely upset about this because I’m known for nice teethe & how in the hell am I suppose to have any dental work while pregnant? Smh.

I've worked in dental for 12 years and never heard of a pregnant women's teeth falling out. Unless they have severe gun disease.  I'm 26 weeks pregnant myself and have regular dental care. I've had plenty of dental work myself through the years.  I am having no dental problems throughout this pregnancy other then my gums being a little sensitive. If you go into pregnancy with healthy teeth. Regular dental visits & check up x-rays you shouldn't be having to much of a problem. Having healthy gums while pregnant can help with full term babies with a healthy birth weight. Your gums are the foundation of your teeth. Healthy gums have healthy bone to hold those teeth in. If your gums aren't healthy the teeth become loose and wobbly. That's one reason your teeth could have been falling out.

My mom said she lost a tooth with all her pregnancies and she was pregnant 4 times! I don’t know how common it is but I’ve heard other women say they lost a tooth when pregnant too

A friend of mine had lost all of her teeth due to lack of calcium, her one pregnancy the baby ended up sacking everything out of her, I was lost for words when I went with her. I was so terrified to get pregnant after that
