My boyfriend and I met last January and started dating officially in June. He is my first committed relationship and (basically) the only person I’ve had sex with. I am so in love with him and vice versa, and we have a very happy, secure relationship. We have a very active sex life and hook up almost every time we see each other. We have been apart for almost three weeks now , but lately I’ve been having vivid dreams about hooking up with other men. Sometimes within the context of the dream, my dream self is aware of cheating and feels guilt and panic. I would never ever do anything to jeopardize our relationship, because he is the best person I have ever met and we have even talked about a future after college. Do any psychology experts out there have a guess as to why I’m having these dreams?
