Thoughts on having a Dula??

I'm thinking about having a Dula my older sister suggested it. What are your thoughts on it? Did you have one do your delivery? I'm a FTM

Hands down best decision. My labor ended up being 43 hours and ended in an emergency c-section. She was such a huge source of support for not only myself, but my husband.  And not just through labor and delivery, but for weeks prior and afterward.  I could not recommend hiring a doula more. Make sure it’s someone you and your partner click with and trust.

For a first time mom, having a doula would be nice. There is so much you can learn from a doula and benefit from having someone that can help you emotionally during and after your pregnancy. I had one for my first pregnancy and I loved her!
