Dear First Guy I think I’m Falling For

We’ve been dating for just 3 months, but it feels like longer in the best way possible. I didn’t notice you before we started dating really, partly because I was scared of getting rejected by yet another guy. After being with you for a while though, you’ve helped me overcome that fear of rejection. I’m not as scared of falling in love for real anymore. And honestly I don’t know if I love you because we’re both 17 and this is the first romantic relationship for both of us and there’s also still a little of that teenage stupidity left in us, but I do know for certain that I will still remember you even when I’m much older and prob more cynical. I feel like I fall for you a little more the more time I spend with you because I feel I’m genuinely getting to know you, not an idealized version of you. I’m still a little scared of falling in love for the first love, but it would be an honor and a privilege for you to be my first love. I hope you feel the same way, but I understand if you don’t.
