Dr refuses to prescribe clomid

With my first child it took 2 years of ttc 1 with out help and 1 with clomid and metformin , i had a hyperemesis and was high risk he is now 9 months old and we have been ttc for 3 months we wont them close in age but my dr is refusing saying i have to try for another year before he will like wtf my kids will be over 2 almost 3 years apart and thats not what i wont at all i have had this dr since i was 16 im 25 but really considering changing dr and i tried everything with the first nothing worked but the meds
