how to ask him to get condoms??

so my boyfriend is sleeping over tonight & i’m planning to have sex w him for the first time. however, i’m not sure if he’s planning the same thing. i know that he’s down, but he might think that i’m not thinking that. that was prob super confusing, sorry. ANYWAYS LONG STORY SHORT - how do i mention to him to bring a condom?? he’s kinda on the shy side & i’m not totally 100% sure if he’d be down. help 😫😫
