Birth robes/gowns suggestions?

I am birthing at a birthing center and they allow me to wear my own clothing. I’ve been looking at birthing robes.. there are some very pretty ones but I think it might get dirty and I would hate to ruin something so pretty. So, I’m just wondering if any of you bought something to birth in? I don’t want anything expensive if I’m just gonna ruin it.

Honestly, it can get very messy. Maybe just a sports bra and inexpensive robe...

I’m just planning to wear an inexpensive nightgown (like, $15) during labor and probably just my sports bra during delivery 🤷🏼‍♀️

I found a couple of nice nightgowns and bought them a couple of sizes too big. I thought at the end of the day they’re going to get filthy anyway and I didn’t want to spend a huge amount, 
In the end I had an emergency cesarean and they cut it off me 😂

I found a short silky type robe that I got just from target. I'm going to get the matching tank/ shorts on set too for later during recovery. All the birthing robes I see on those sites are just always so expensive! This was way cheaper lol
