Married name or maiden name?

I don't know if this is really controversial or not. If not I'll delete, but until then here's my question:

If you find yourself going through a divorce, would you keep your married name, or go back to your maiden name?

I have an aunt that used her first husband's name before she remarried in 2017. I have another aunt who immediately went back to using her maiden name.

I don't think either one is right or wrong. I'm just curious to see which name you all would choose and why?

For me, I would only keep my married name so that I can have the same last name as my child(ren).
