24 hr urine collection?

So I heard through this app that you don’t use your first morning pee for the 24 hr urine collection. So if I start at 12 then I finish at 12 tomorrow? Do I collect tomorrow’s first morning pee? If anyone had to do this before how were your results? If the results were bad what happenes?
