What are your thoughts on arranged marriage?

I think it’s kinda wack that you marry someone you don’t know. My parents had an arranged marriage & we’re indian, they want their kids to get married to indians aswell (doubt that’s gonna happen though)

I think it's in a sense kind of romantic... however, I don't come from a background that has this tradition.. and I'm sure if I did, I'd too think the way you are currently thinking

I think you should do what makes you happy. If you have a great relationship with your parents and want them to help you find a partner (who you can veto if necessary), then I see no problem. If you’re being forced into marriage too young or don’t want to marry this way, then it’s a BIG problem.
One thing I appreciate about arranged marriages that I’ve seen is that both people learn to work together and make each other happy. I feel like sometimes, in American culture, we can be very selfish in relationships and we can also leave before really working together to resolve problems. My experience seeing arranged marriages is that they tend to be better at this.

I wouldn't do it. But if others actually want to do it and aren't forced into it then I'm all for it.
