Does this amount of damage look like you should go to the hospital?

22 week pregnant driver that had no pain or injuries from the crash.

Car 2
Driver asked for EMS and went away in the ambulance.

I think if you have pain anywhere you should get it checked out when you’re in a car accident, if it is something serious and causes issues in the future you can get money to pay for the hospital bills- As for the pregnant driver I’d go to the hospital too to get my baby checked out

I mean you never know if that person has any other conditions that could be affected by this. I know it's easy to immediately think the worst but there are other possibilities.

As a paramedic I’m going to do absolutely nothing for someone in an accident with that minimal amount of damage. It will literally be the most expensive taxi ride of your life. Unless the person is having some legitimate symptoms of preterm labor, they are getting literally no treatment. It is a waste of an ambulance that could be closer to a true emergency.

I think you should always get checked out after any accident. I had whiplash from a semi-minor accident and didn’t find out till two years later but now I’m having serious back issues because of it that could’ve been avoided had I gone to the hospital.

The drive who went to the hospital is the pregnant one? 
You never know what prior issues a person has. And if she is pregnant, going to the hospital can’t hurt. The seatbelt could have gotten to tight around her belly. I personally would have went if Iw as pregnant too.

From surface damage, no. But if the airbags deployed, then yes the pregnant woman absolutely should go.

Depends, on if the airbags deployed. I just picked my dad's car up from a wreck he got in due to a driver stomping the breaks down hill in the snow.. my dad ended up hitting a guard rail on a bridge to avoid the driver in front of him and the truck hauling a trailer behind him. His airbags deployed on both sides, and he had very little body damages on his vehicle.. the person who caused the wreck didn't stop. However, my dad isn't a little bitch and had somewhere to be (he had to be in Atlanta for work and got in a wreck in NC) his nose was broken from the bag deploying and this arm was cut up. 
Its difficult to actually determine if someone needs to be taken to the hospital based purely on the damages to the vehicle as they could have had a neck injury from the impact.. even if the bags deployed or not.. as the damages could have been done by the seatbelt.
