First pregnancy and doctors visit???

I’m a little scared what should I expect when I go to my first doctors appointment what kind of ultrasound do they do in the vagina or on the stomach this is my first pregnancy and I’m really scared and nervous!!

Both pregnancies my doctors didn’t even do an ultrasound. First appointment was just peeing in a cup and seeing if I had any questions. 
First office didn’t do an ultrasound until 20 weeks and second office didn’t do one until 8 weeks. Both were just on my stomach.

For mine it was usual vitals , than go to a room asked questions from OB & get blood drawn and that's it .
Depending how far along you are , for me I was 8 weeks so my next appointment I got to hear my babys heart beat I think I was 13 weeks .

It’s mostly just paperwork and vitals. They won’t do an ultrasound until usually 8-12 weeks and you’ll schedule it as an ultrasound, not just as a regular appointment.

First appointment was speak to the doctor , pee in a cup , draw blood for HCG levels and vaginal ultrasound I was about 7 weeks .

Depends on what kind of doctor you’re seeing (your family practitioner vs OB), how far along you are, and if you have any conditions that would make this pregnancy high risk. I am having a low risk pregnancy and I made my first appointment with an obstetrician; they saw me at 8 weeks. They took my vitals, did a well woman exam and Pap smear, a urine sample, and a “dating” ultrasound abdominally. Then we talked with the OB about general office practices and how the appointments would work. Finally, we spoke with the insurance and billing coordinator to go over the global fee and how payments worked.

You got this momma nothing to worry, from personal experience your first appointment will mainly be about your background as in family health history signing a lot of paper work  and taking your vitals. Possibly some blood work done and depending on how far along you are you'll likely get the transvaginal ultrasound with the wand but a little tip if your like me lol ask if you can be the one to insert it yourself so your more relaxed and  comfortable and then from there you'll set up your future appointments, hope this helps!
