Hsv 2 positive

I was just diagnosed with hsv2 via an outbreak. this is my first outbreak so it’s pretty bad. Dr put me on the anti-viral med.

As a 20 year old.. I feel like my life is over, sexually. I’m so embarrassed of it and feel like it’s never going to be the same..

Those of you who are hsv 2 positive and comfortable with sharing.. what are precautions you take during an outbreak, in all aspects of your life. I have no one I feel comfortable talking to about this so I’m completely lost.
