Birth control???

Question

I’m going to be put on the birth control pill pretty soon so what should I expect the side effects to be during the first couple of weeks till my body gets use to it?

Well, u should know it can actually take 3-6 months for ur body to adjust to being on (or off) birth control. So, side effects are possible & normal during that time. As far as what side effects u could experience, everyone’s body reacts differently, but possible side effects include; cramps, headaches, nausea/vomiting, backaches, breast or nipple tenderness, mood swings, acne, boating, and breakthrough bleeding or spotting. I highly suggest thoroughly reading the leaflet that comes with ur birth control, as it explains all this & more about that specific birth control.
